Problem: The server plays the same 4 or 5 maps WAAAAY more than any others. At any given time, I'd say it's 60% likely that the server will be on a Dust or Dust2 variant.
Suggested Solution: The server variable "mani_vote_dont_show_last_maps" controls how often a map can show up in the vote list. Setting this number higher means that a given map will show up to be voted on less often meaning other maps will get played more. The server seems to always be on: Dust/Dust2, Italy, Assault, or Office. I'd suggest setting the variable to 7+ in order to get less frequently played maps like Prodigy2, Lost Temple, etc played more often.

Problem: There are only a few "good" maps that support 32 players. Look at the maps that are being played on 32 slot servers... its almost always the same Dust, Dust2, Office, and Aztec.
Some of the problem is these maps run good with 32 players and the other problem is ...when I add "new" maps players Bitch and complain that the new maps suck.
I have the mani_vote_dont_show_last_maps set to 4 so server cant play the Dust, Dust2, Office, and Aztec without playing at least 1 other map before they cycle through them again.
I will raise that to mani_vote_dont_show_last_maps 6 and see if it helps!
Thanks for the suggestion!

I definitely agree with you on the "only so many 32 player maps". Thanks for trying it out. Hopefully, I'll finally get to see Prodigy2 get played. :-D

Well, the new HLStats page bears out what I think most of us already knew. Kill - wise, Dust and Dust2 account for 30% of the total kills on the server. I just don't understand why everyone always votes for those darn maps. They just get old. I'd much rather mix it up a bit more. Can't really tell that the increased "dont_show" is doing much although I do notice that the winter dusts are out of the rotation and that seems to have helped quite a bit.
