How do you guys feel about scripts? Such as burst fire/quick fire. I have one for Dualies where I can empty the whole clip in ~3-4 secs. How do you feel about this? Thanks.

Bannable offense, IMO
Only scripts that don't give you an advantage over others should be allowed. Things like buy scripts (now useless with new shop UI), etc.

I don't use scripts for anything.
The only thing I ever did, ever, was to increase my walkspeed back in 2001. I was told that this was cheating, so I changed it back, and that was the end of it.
I have never used a wallhack, aimbot, macro, or script. I have never skywalked on purpose and if it happens I find my way down immediately. In soccer, if I get a gun I throw it into the stands so that if I die someone else doesn't get it and become tempted to use it.
If you're using scripts or settings on your computer that enable you to do something that the average player will not do, then it is cheating. I don't care how small it is. If the average player won't know about it then it is cheating to use it. This includes all console commands that change your rate or anything at all that an average gamer would not use, which means basically everything except your options.
Inotherwords, my game is pure. It has no add-ons for cheating. No macros, scripts, no setting changes. It is pure. My game is pure. And I do see you in the server & I kick your ass alot. So apparently, I don't need gimmiks to help me play better. Maybe you do.

It would be wise not to use them, atleast for the time being.

here's some demos i made of the scripts, this should definately not be allowed it completely circumvents the design of the gun. I dunno if anyone's using like a 3shot burst but they specifically took that away from the M4 a long ass time ago. I'm fine with most scripts but trigger pulling scripts is absurd. 70.112.40.247/romstuff/dualscripts.zip

Personally, I think any script thats not accessible through console or through the keybind UI should be illegal. All key binds are "scripts" however, like mouse1 "+attack" is the script for firing with the mouse button. The script you mention about shooting the dualies is likely you just binding the fire key to your mousewheel up and down... so when you roll it up and down quickly you fire just as quickly...
I dont think that should be illegal, anyone can do that, and anyone with a quick finger could shoot those dualies just as fast with a mousebutton. I personally dont use something like that, as i dont think you gain any advantage by spamming that gun - its for pure novelty effect.
I guess my point really is, most scripts are incredibly obvious when theyre used and anyone with the talent can compensate recoil or burst much better without a script, its purely for people who dont want to learn, so they probably suck anyway ;D

it circumvents trigger pull. even just using the mousewheel, it still circumvents trigger pull. sucks but oh well.

bind k ultimate would be considered a script as well.
or
bind mouse1 "+attack ; ultimate" .
I was curious about this topic because i was leveling up pistoleer, and if its allowed to bind +attack to mousewheel then i might be able to fire my usual panic shots when someone surprises me (like those pesky rogues). I asked in-game but i thought i would bring this to forums since i can get a better response here.
In my opinion scripts are the ones you can load through console, or ones that make you modify/create certain files from cstrike folder. So, can we get an answer from edco on this topic?

what do you mean, what is triggerpull? pulling the trigger, one click at a time. it's like using a 3shot burst script. it's bypassing the design pistols are semi auto 1 click 1 fire, M4 doesn't have 3shot you just have to do it the old fashioned way, unless you use scripts to bypass these designs, It's just script exploiting, binding trigger pulls to the mousewill is no longer semi auto and bypassing the games design if you were supposed to be able to shoot the dualies faster then any full auto gun in the game they woulda designed it that way. It's rediculous. i'm not saying all scripts or console commands are wrong i use and standby alot for the purpose of FPS and Network Optimization sure. But the nature of some things is a clear exploit.

Bind mwheeldown +attack bind mwheelup +attack
Just as hard as bind f ultimate
This is not illegal ( no1 told me it was) and everyone can do it just as easy as binding ultimate and it suck if your not near the enemy.
